The app is very good mashallah and I can tell that the devs are working very hard to keep it updated and listening to user feedback. One thing that could make this app a little better would be a chat/comment system.
It could be like every leaderboard has its own chat. So families and friends can react or comment. And in the global leaderboard people could talk with each other. Although there would have to be a kind of slow mode.
If this got added it would be a fun way for the community to communicate with each other in real time and comment on the others grind (for those who are competing for first place on global leaderboard)
Yes that would that would be great especially in custom groups for mosques. The only problem I see is misuse of the chat so that might be a drawback of adding one
Yes that is true. There would have to be a report system especially for it. They could have it so if your account gets reported and it’s real then you get a strike. If you have 1 strike it’s just warn and you also lose a trust rank. Having 2 strikes is a mute for a week. And 3 is a ban.
There would also have to be a censoring system. This would be some work for the devs both in making a moderating it but it would make the community happy. And if there are too many reports then trust level 4 and 3 could help managing them.
As of now there is only one group chat which is the general chat. Everyone in the Kalaam discussion is automatically added to this chat (I think, based on members)
At the bottom you have 2 things, channels and dms. In dms you can create groups or have individual chats by tapping the plus
The channels I think are for group chats I’m not really sure what their use is except for displaying the larger chats.
