Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatahu,
“ Yusuf - Verse 83
Sahih International:
[Jacob] said, "Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. Perhaps Allāh will bring them to me all together. Indeed, it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise."
The developers are working hard to fix the app and all the new glitches which are bound to happen with a big update. They are responsive and determined to fix it, so be grateful that we can interact with them and ask them unlike many other apps. And unlike a lot of apps, this app is free. The “VIP” is simply a way to thank those who donate to the app.
It’s good that many of us are reporting glitches and bugs, and we should continue to do so. Again, “patience is most fitting”. Many of us don’t like change, including myself, but we should try to embrace it and wait before deciding whether the old is actually the better choice compared to the new. I know it’s difficult to wait as they fix the app, but we can turn it into our own benefit and rewards by making dua that the developers finish patching and bug fixing quickly so that everyone can benefit from it. Give the new version a chance. I understand how the app now feels complex and lost most of its functionality and simple features, but it has only been a few days (less) since the update dropped. Insha-Allah, Allah will make everything clear to us and easy for us throughout Ramadan and have most major glitches fixed at least by the end of Ramadan or sooner.
