Assalam 3alaikum, there seems to be an issue with the daily lesson mechanism. I stopped getting new words and all the review timers are set to “1 Day” for the words that pass by. So I’m just getting virtually the same bundle of words every day. Does anyone else experience this issue as well?

yes even Im getting the same issue. Im manually going and clicking on learn new words

The problem is still occurring for me. It’s not every word somehow, but it’s a lot of them and the ones that function normally seem to be more an exception to the rule.
Does anyone have an idea about what could cause this issue, as not everyone seems to experience it? It’s been really hindering with my learning process 
Assalamualaikum. this was fixed in the last update. Please confirm. There was an issue that would keep pushing the words to the next day if you were a bit slow to respond to them.

@areeb salaam, unfortunately I must say that the issue has not been resolved after all. The image seemed to have been slightly distorted due to getting some different words and a handful of timers going again.
During this session all the same words from the past week-and-a-bit are back, and all still have the 1 day timer stuck. There were also a good number of words from yesterday and the day before appearing that also returned and gave a 1 day repeat timer.

Thanks for confirming that the issue is still persisting despite the update. I apologize that the previous fix didn’t fully resolve it for you.
Based on your detailed feedback, we will look into this further to understand why the 1-day timer is sticking for certain words and preventing new words from appearing.

I’m also still facing this issue. My review count is getting higher and higher I’m at 25+ review words per day and if I take more than a few seconds to think about another review word it immediately drops it back to 1 day. It can be very aggressive and doesn’t reward looking into More information or other uses in order to expand our knowledge on a word. I think it just wants me to immediately swipe it away otherwise it sets it to review every day.

We released a fix on June 3rd for the spaced repetition system issue that was causing the stuck 1-day timers and preventing new words from appearing; please ensure your app is updated. You can also now find an option in your profile settings to “force new words” in your lessons if you’d like to use it.

I’ve been testing it daily since the update and it feels like it is back to how it used to be, this is perfect Alhamdulillah! I’m getting my 2 new words per day + around 16-20 review which is exactly what I want.
