Salamun alaikum, first of all jazakum Allah khairan for the great app, my problem is after the grammar update it doesn’t give me any new words to learn and after finishing my review words if I intentionally press learn again it gives me too much new words-way more than my daily limit-. When I saw today’s patch I thought maybe it will be fixed but it is the same again. I know there are a lot to fix right now and I pray Allah makes it easy for you, just wanted to know if it only happens to me or a general error?

Wa iyyak! Barak Allahu feek, we are happy to hear you are benefitting Alhamdullilah 
The way it works is that it picks new words based on how many review words you have due. If you have a lot of review words, then it won’t give you any new words that day. If you change your time limit and open up space for new words then they will start showing up.
The point is to not overwhelm if there are too many words to review.

Salam. I dont think this is the case. As i increassed my time to 20 minutrs and gave me 80 review words, but still no new words.

Salamun alaikum, just wanted to add something. Today I finished the review words before my daily time limit, then when I closed the app and opened it again it gave me new words this time (I heard from some other discussion that it works that way) but even though my delay grammar switch is on the new words were all grammar rules. I know you all are working hard. May Allah reward you for this, I just thought maybe if I specify the error it will be easier to fix😊

Salam guys, sorry for the confusion here. You’re right, we should have done a better job explaining this. The number of new words you’ll be taught is now dynamically calculated depending on how much space there is in your daily time commitment. After taking into account all the reviews that are due. So as reviews become due, they take priority. And they fill up all that time. Once you clear all your pending reviews at that point, the system starts teaching you new words, because it’s important to review old words to keep them strong in your memory instead of constantly learning new words. This also allows us to teach new users a lot of new words because they don’t have anything for review on day one. And allows them to get started with the app properly. Once you are done your reviews, if you would like to learn some new words, just click the learn more button. And it’ll teach you some new words after that, inshallah.
What’s also happening is that once the lesson is done, new words suddenly pop-up later on the same day (within 12 hours). This gives the impression that it’s not by design since the lesson duration is done (as opposed to dynamically populating within the lesson interval).

Can you tell me exactly how to reproduce that?
It simply happens. Lesson is done then new words show up. I believe its only review words first then in 2-3 rounds with varying time between (after the lesson is finished) more words pop up which seem to be actual new words.
