Over the past weeks I have encountered many words in the Daily Challenge that show the pattern of “The females who …”. I think some examples are:
العاديات، الجاريات، الذاريات، النازعات، الناشطات، المرسلات
basically any word ending in “aat” to make it a feminine plural. This can be very problematic as some of these words refer to angels or wind where the word “females” is inaccurate. Maybe a better way to translate it would be to have something like “The ones that run (feminine)” or “The ones that run (feminine gender)” instead of “The females that run”

You’re right, and it’s already on our list. All the descriptions of function or movement referring to angels, winds, stars, etc., will be revised to remove the word ‘females’ in sha Allah. BarakAllahu feek!
