Please show user how many unique words we know

Salam,

While this concept of tracking the number of words one knows seems appealing, the “words” ال and و appear almost 18000 times in the Quran, giving the user a very skewed understanding of what they actually know. I realized this when I used the read function in the app. I would prefer if the developers opted to show how many unique words a user knew, as this would be a more accurate account of their progress.

Unique meaning in this context words that only occur once or something else?

If unique did mean “words that occur only once” then it would mean that you’d have to get to 96+ percent learned to encounter them as new words in daily lesson
