When you do notecards, you press to see more details and then press on any word in the example sentence and it will tell you its meaning. We should be able to see a toggle if the algorithm thinks we know the word, and be able to change the toggle based on if we need to change it.
If feel like when I press on a word in the sentence I don’t know, the algorithm thinks I know it, I should be able to see if it’s a part of my “known words” and change it to not know or vice versa if needed
Thanks for this thoughtful suggestion about managing words within example sentences in the “more details” view. Good news: tapping a word in an example sentence to see its meaning doesn’t signal to the algorithm that you know it; it’s just for quick lookup. Your “known words” status is primarily determined by your answers during lessons and by using the trash can icon on main flashcards.
