New practice challenge

Assalam ualeikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. First of all may Allah bless you for such a good app. JazakAllahu khayran!
While using this app I noticed (and used myself) such strategy. You do daily challenge, and then to earn up points you do over and over the practice challenge for a minute. However, some words are repeating, and I feel like I’m automatically just trying to beat time, which leads sometimes to making mistakes)))
Can you please add another practice challenge not on time but till the first mistake. That way we don’t have to rush and get as many points as possible, but concentrate on quality of our learning process.
Another practice could be like quiz, I.e. finish this Ayat (based on your choice of prioritized surahs) or place a missing phrase or word.
I don’t know how you are going to sort the rewards, but I hope that this will increase the time people spend using your app.
BarakAllahu feekum!

That is a great idea, should definitely be added

Actually the pressure of time is an integral part of it. Being able to translate quickly and accurately deserves more points than just being able to translate accurately.

Perhaps having something like Duolingo where they have one timed challenge and one non-timed exercise. I like the idea of completing ayahs with recently learnt words.

Doing the timed exercise as many times as you want isn’t sufficient?

Areeb assalam ualeikum. Please take it easy. I and people who commented here are just trying to bring some of views on how to further improve your product with no purpose of teaching or showing off. You’ve done incredible work with such an interesting app, and I like it very much. If you don’t want to change anything, don’t do it. At the end of the day, it’s your product. No more commenting from my side. BarakAllahu feekum.

Just having a discussion habibi to understand. This is me taking it easy

I guess it’s just that many people have a hard time under pressure. My simple suggestion is ignore the time limit at first. This is how I excel at the daily and practice challenges. Even setting goals such as “today I will get at least 20 points” is good. Yes, a non timed challenged might be good but learning how to answer quickly is even better

Also I know there are some things such as dyslexia which can be very troubling for many people trying to do the practice challenge too but for now I think more thought needs to be put into this if people really want this non-timed challenge

I really think it’s better to learn by the time limit because many things in life will have some sort of limit or time crunch so it’s best to go with this one minute challenge

Many types of daily challenge games are coming soon. It’s remarkable how many non native Arabic speakers are excelling at the current daily challenge format especially with the 60 second time limit!
