How do you turn off dark mode?

I have the same question. Not finding the dark mode helpful. I could not find the to turn it off.

Somehow I have l light mode and not dark mode. I don’t know how or why people might have dark mode though i think it’s because of the first time you join it asks you?
Not really. I’m seeing this auto dark mode after the latest update. So it probably has something to do with it.

Your mobile’s default mode (light/dark) will automatically be applied to kalaam.
Turning off dark mode of your phone will fix it.

How about how to turn on dark mode
I still have light mode so I’m confused. Is the phone’s light mode and dark mode? Or is it just the app itself for different devices? I’m using iPhone 11 so possibly the device might have something to do with it. All we need at the moment is a switch in settings for light and dark

sorry guys, we accidentally released dark mode before it was ready. we have removed it. if you can’t turn it off, please update to the latest version.

Yea sorry it didn’t fix for some users. Hang in there - much improved dark mode and a host of other donor features coming next week iA. Along with the ability to turn it off
