It’s a funny colour problem happening on some devices, iPhone has it normal
Actually I have a similar issue aswell, on an iPhone 8. If I’m using the dark theme, only one word shows so I have to switch to light theme then I can see the rest of the ayah

Yeah, my phone is default set to Dark Mode, but i like viewing Kalaam in Light Mode, but when i do that, the words (surrounding the sibject word) are white, so i need to turn the aapp to Dark Mode to virw. Or otherwise turn my phone on light mode

Yes the phone dark mode is probably messing with Kalaam and it’s own dark mode and light mode since I always use light mode and it’s normal for me.
