There are a few instances like this where multiple meanings can be created. In this case, when you add an “alif” after the first root letter, it can result in either of two meanings. You can click on “More Information” and then go to the “Similar” tab to get a better idea.
Regarding the second issue you mentioned, yes, we are aware of it and are working on a fix. Jazakallah khair.
