I don’t wanna learn new words until I review and make sure I remember the previous words. I click review button and I’m forced to learn new words… I don’t get to review my previous vocabulary and by the time I’m offered by the system to review my vocabulary I already forgot what I’ve learned in the past.
Extremely inconvenient.
Assalamo alykom, I get why this feels frustrating! You want to confirm you actually remember what you learned before being pushed into new material, and that’s a totally reasonable expectation.
This is based on spaced repetition, where reviews are scheduled automatically depending on how you handled each card. But the system doesn’t always make that clear, and it doesn’t give you much control.
What would the ideal user journey look like for you here?

I think this is a bug with the recent update. Before, I can “Pause learning new words” and then continue to do daily reviews without new vocab showing up.
Now, it forces me to enable new words in order to do any Review. Please check if a bug was introduced with the latest update (1/23/2026)

Hi. First I want to thank you for your incredible work. Your app is amazing and very helpful.
How I would imagine the optimal journey is, that we should have unlimited “review cards” option.. so we just can practicise as we want.
I also have a suggestion about the daily challenge… it is just too short… would it be possible to choose the amount of minutes we want to spend on the daily challenge? Because I am always curious what comes next but it ends too fast..
Next suggestion I have is,whether we could have something like that “challenge” but not challenge, just the whole surah and whether we understand it and to what percentage. This would be amazing, I miss this the most, because reading surah by my own is different to what I am pointing to in this suggestion.
