Before the update I had 95 percent of understanding. Now after the update its down to 52 percent
Yes, because of the new grammar rules, your percentage of understanding has decreased most likely because of it. These grammar rules take up a lot of your understanding so if you learn some your percentage should go back up, unless it is a different problem

Are you talking about the original major update (there have been a few since then)? If yes, did you retake the test since that update (grammar only)?
