When you go to read a Surah in the Reading Tab and then finish it, rather than leaving the Surah entirely can there be an option to swipe left or right to go onto the next or previous Surah?
And one more thing is that maybe there could be a short description under the special letters in the Quran (alif-laam-meem) and others to explain what they are.
Those who are new to Islam might wonder what these letters mean and their purpose and by giving them a better understanding they will learn why these letters show up.
I also was wondering if Surah Ya-sin would have a name meaning (the English underneath) in a similar fashion to the ones of Surah Saad and Surah Qaf, or would it be âYa-sinâ instead of the âYa sinâ that it is right now
In Surah Ya-sin I found this and was wondering if it could be changed:
In ayah 67 the word says âtransformed youâ but should it be changed to paralyzed, frozen or transfigured?
Itâs pretty standard and accepted translation. But I understand, maybe you are concerned that transformed has a positive connotation to it in English?
then maybe we can just use âchange their formâ . Of course it still means the same thing, but maybe minus the positive connotation.
Yes that could be better. Though there are many other acceptable alternatives as well. Sahih International goes with this:
Yes, âdeformedâ gives out a more appropriate emotional meaning than transform.
Yes I would agree. Transformed gives a different image and can be confusing for some while deformed gives a somewhat more strong feel. I also feel in the previous ayah Kalaam might want to change blinded to obliterated as Sahih International does. It portrays the ayah and this particular part of the Surah better.
weâre gonna be switching over to sahih international shortly iA. All the word translations will be re-done with our grammar update.
i agree with the swiping between surahs thing! will do
Yes I donât think the sujood-at-tilawah is even added in the Kalaam reading section. Iâve checked many others places where it occurs but find none.
Also Wa alaykum Assalam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatahu
being added shortly iA
