I’m trying to recover my broken streak. Does anyone know how to do it?
Since I am not a VIP I do not really know it should work but based on what others have said and what the description says:
The streak is supposed to keep going as of nothing happened. Other people have said that once it breaks there is a repair button for it
I don’t know for sure but if none of these appeared it’s possibly a bug that needs fixing
When your streak breaks it’s supposed to pop up a modal asking you to repair it. Did nothing pop up?

I am in the same boat. I am a paid member and my streak broke and would like to repair it.
Nothing has come up indicating a way to repair.
If you can look into this it would be greatly appreciated.
Salam @WAR , As of now, donors will have an automatic streak repair once a month, and you don’t need to take any special action for this. The day after you miss your daily lesson, you’ll see the missed day added to the ‘My Progress’ section in the Study tab. In the latest version of the app, we also added a popup notification to inform you about the streak repair.
I checked your data, and it looks like you’ve already used your monthly streak repair on August 1st to cover your missed day on July 31st. Your next streak repair will be available next month.

Salam @Ibby_E , I just checked your data and its showing that you used your streak repair on August 5th to cover your missed day on August 4th.

Thank you for checking into this. I wanted to mention that I didn’t see any messages regarding the streak repair, so I’m concerned it may not have worked. Even if it did, the broken streak should have been counted for July, not August, since it was broken on July 31. I believe this might be a bug in the system.

I can assure you this is not accurate.
I have never used a repair streak, there must be something wrong with the data.
This is my first (and hopefully last) time requesting it.
August 4th was a Sunday and i completed my session in the morning.
Please reconsider, as i believe there may be a bug with the system.

Yes, you are right. The app version at the time your streak was repaired did not contain the notification alert. It was shipped in version 2.08.15, released on August 4th.
Currently, we are counting the moment your streak was repaired as the time you used your monthly streak repair option, but I will discuss this with the team. Thanks for sharing your concern.

Please do. This is very important to me. And I would not be dishonest about a quran App.
I can assure you I have never used a repair streak. My goal is to never need to use it. And after 220 days unfortuantely I missed it by 2 hrs.

Alhamdulilah it’s good to see that people are getting these high streaks and love the app and it’s also great to see how amazing and responsive the Kalaam team is as well

Thank you for the confirmation. Could you please consider manually restoring my streak? Since the break on July 31st technically falls within the month of July, I believe it should be accounted for accordingly.

Same here. All the other apps were just hard to learn from and asked for money and also had many adds. Kalaam is free, fun, and easy to learn with and adjust to. Inshallah one day if I become hafiz of the Quran I can also be able to teach people its meanings in English and have a better understanding in prayer Alhamdulilah
