You earn 10 points for every new word that you fully learn and 2 points every time you review an old word. You can also earn points through the daily challenge once it’s unlocked for you. The points for that depend on your speed and accuracy.
So someone who has selected to study for 30 minutes a day earns more points than someone who studied for 10 minutes a day. That person who is competing on their local friend or city board will have to keep pressing learn more words to add more points. I don’t know if there is a limit.
