Grammar challenge feedback

I tried the new grammar challenge and I feel the way the tiles shuffle place after every step is disorienting and breaks my thought process. It would also be great if you can undo/unselect a tile.

Assalamo alaykom. The tiles reshuffle deliberately as a learning technique. It trains learners to identify the required length and structure of the segment first, and then re-read all available tiles to select the correct grammatical fit, rather than relying on position or visual memory. This reinforces structural awareness and accurate parsing.

I personally find it frustrating. Some of the grammar problems cannot and should not be solved step by step but as a whole. The orders of the tokens in Arabic are not necessarily the same order in English. Yes you parse step by step but you cannot answer until you have parsed it completely. Several times I have formed my complete answer, selected the first token then select the next token only to mistap as the tokens shuffle place.

things like this make me lose interest in the grammer challenge. It is just not fair. Even when you know the answer, it is (too) hard to get it right.

Assalamu alaykom, we’re currently rolling out an update that will allow users to disable shuffle (this will award fewer points). @Saliha We’re also working on fixing the issue. Thank you for reporting it.
