Assalamu Alaykum, and Jazakallahu Khayr for such a wonderful app. I’ve been using the app for about a year now and have made great progress in meaning and hifz at the same time.
First, I pray the issue of flashcards not giving you ayahs from surahs you have prioritized is fixed soon. This makes sure that the words you have recently learned are being presented to you in the surahs you’ve memorized. For example, if I prioritize everything in the last 3 Juz, you can learn the meaning of the word within the flow of the surah you know before being hit with every other use of the word in the Qur’an (extremely overwhelming).
Second, I pray the ‘Show familiar words’ section returns to its original layout as it is useful to have a flat list of recently learned words which you do not have search for in the sea of all learned words (helps with quick refresher before your daily lesson).
Lastly, the new feature in the ‘Read’ tab I have unfortunately not found helpful because when you prioritize a surah, it takes it out of the Qur’anic order. For example, if I prioritize surat al-Hashr, it goes to the top of the list, above al-fatihah. The previous set-up was better as you could quite literally memorize the orders of the surahs within the Qur’an (we would rather not get used to seeing things out of order…).
I am aware some others have mentioned these issues in slightly different ways, but figured I would flag them again in detail to second/third their concerns with the new update. Regardless, all of you are doing an amazing job. This project is awesome and has amazing potential. May all of you be rewarded greatly, InshaAllah.
