Ever since downloading the app I’ve been checking for a widget to be created.
I think widgets are a great way to increase user interaction as they take up much more screen area and constantly draw attention unlike an app icon which can easily be lost among the countless others. Personally I use widgets to keep the most important things on my phone within easy access. For reference something like the duolingo widget style could be appropriate. Just a background picture and then the streak number displayed on top.
