Some Arabic fonts too small to read

Assalaamu’Alaikum,

There are various places where it is very difficult to read Arabic words.

Would it be possible to zoom in to make the font larger so it’s easier to read?

Or make these fonts reflective of the size the user sets in the profile tab.

Or Kalaam to support dynamic type so the size of the text adjusts to the readers preferred reading size, (> settings > display and brightness > text size) for IPhone

Assalamu alaikum Bee,

Thanks for reaching out about the difficulty with small Arabic fonts. We’re aware that the in-app font size settings aren’t consistently applying everywhere, and we’re actively working on an update to address this across the app, including support for dynamic type. In the meantime, you might find it helpful to adjust your device’s overall text size in your phone’s accessibility settings.

Wa Alaiku’musalaam wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuh Areeb,

I noticed since your last message, I don’t think there is an issue with the correct font size being applied everywhere. It’s just simply that the English and Arabic font size is the same which is sufficient to read words in English, (vowels/consonants) all being letters and, (for most if not all) we’ve been reading English our entire lives and so focus on the word rather than individual letters. When trying to read the Arabic, (same font size as English) I have to focus on the individual letters and vowels, (harakaat are tiny) in order to read the word correctly and derive the correct meaning and I can’t do this as the Arabic font is too tiny. I’ve tried everything you’ve suggested but to no avail. I’m not sure if it is possible, but, (if you think this is an issue which needs addressing) can the Arabic font size be increased across the entire website where there is text describing grammar or words?
