More practice? Unlimited?

What is the proof of the “scientifically proven” method? From what I recall Memerise made similar claims and their format was completely different with a VERY rigorous review process which was extremely helpful from my personal anecdotal experience.

It’s used quite frequently in other disciplines like medical schools with great success.

I’m confused: why is unlimited practice not enough for you? It needs to be re-started every minute but you can keep doing that unlimited times.

Because unlimited practice only tells you what is wrong and moves on while actually reviewing might be a bit easier. Also it doesn’t give you every single word or specific word you need to review. And the fact that it gives you the answer at the bottom of the screen doesn’t really test the brain so I can see why people don’t like it as a way to review

My problem is that I’m so busy with work and exams and tests so it feels like I have no space on my brain to remember much and I don’t know if it’s because I’m lefthanded or not but I find it easier to learn by doing it over and over again in a short period of time and then after that I start to distance it out a bit

The science is literally that after some people were tested with different ways to memorize most people found these ways successful or this one group had most success rate.

When it comes to these kinds of scientifically proven stuff a lot of it has to do with the people they test it on and how they react with what they are given

Unlimited practice is enough for me but it’s not available. That’s what I’m hoping can happen. Unlimited daily lesson where can keep going without adding additional words.

Eg if studies show idk only X new words per day. There should be unlimited times for review of previous words in the same format. Like hifz for Quran. Repetition + review.

Maybe I didn’t understand your question.

Cant wait for these new challenges. Especially the challenging each other. I do that with my brother but if we get same words it will make the test fair and also more accurate results

I randomly found a way to have more practice for words you want to review
It is a bit annoying to do but it i think it kind of works

The plan is that you do your daily lesson and write down the words you want to review more.
When the lesson is done go familiar words, search up those words, and then swipe left to delete them. Then go back to daily lesson and learn more and it will give you these specific words I think

Please do. Or at least increase the time. 1 min is too short.

The way Kalaam works is best for your brain aswell. If you have the knowledge infront of you your brain will keep on forgetting. Kalaam trains your brain by making it struggle to remember words so the next time you don’t struggle and the word is locked in your memory forever when you practice it enough.

Without this feature of not reviewing words, Kalaam would be less helpful.

I suggest doing lessons before you sleep so your brain gets enough energy and can reactivate the memory to train the words better the next day

May work for some but not for all

For now I think it’s best if the developers get out the major updates and after that we can try to find solutions to these type of problems people may bring out
