How many people?

Assalamu alaykum Wa rahmatullahi Wa barakatahu

How many people have actually joined Kalaam? I heard that after it released around 45,000 people joined. But how many now? I’m just curious to know how much Kalaam has grown since it’s released

I’ve shown Kalaam to a lot of people in my high school MSA and they really liked it and were interested. Now that I’ve just become part of the executive team Alhamdulilah, I’ll probably discuss using Kalaam so that people can truly understand what they are reading and build a connection as they grow inshallah Allah will help me through this.

And I also think that when the language update comes out for Kalaam the number of people using Kalaam will probably skyrocket with so many people all over the world using it. It might finally become popular with almost all of the ummah inshallah

Assalamualaikum

At about 100k now but tbh we’ve stopped our marketing. Need to add the social features to unlock the next stage of growth iA. We also need to get our financial health in order and the upcoming donor features should help for that as well. We also need to add grammar. After that is every major language. Lots of work ahead :slight_smile: iA it’s all ready by next Ramadan. then we’ll turn on the scaling iA.

Right now folks are dropping off because of motivation issues without the social accountability piece.

Gamifying seems to help from my limited experience. Competition of sorts. Memrise had a weekly one. So it would change every week who was the top essentially with friends.
