I’ve been enjoying the app and truly appreciate the effort put into making our Quran learning engaging. However, after the recent update, I’ve noticed something different with the feed system.
My feed has become overcrowded with repeated invitations to the same leaderboard challenge from other users. This makes it difficult for me to find my own invitations for different challenges such as heads-up or co-op. Additionally, my personal feed notifies me every time other users complete each other’s challenges, which feels unnecessary since it’s supposed to be my personal feed.
This overload of repetitive invitations and notifications makes navigation frustrating. It would be much better if:
Personal feeds only showed my own invitations and relevant activity, not every update from others.
Repeated invitations from the same leaderboard were minimized or grouped together.
I hope you can look into this, as it would greatly improve the user experience.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Let me explain what’s happening with these notifications:
Leaderboard Challenge Notifications: These are triggered when one of the leaderboard members initiates a daily challenge. All other leaderboard members receive a notification to join that specific challenge. This is designed to encourage friendly competition and engagement among top performers.
Friend Game Notifications: When both players in a game are your friends, you’ll see a feed item about their game so you can react to it and support them.
That said, we understand this can become overwhelming. You’re absolutely right that we need better control options here. We’ll be adding features to customize and possibly block these notifications based on your in-app notification preferences. This way, you can choose exactly what updates you want to see in your feed.
We appreciate your feedback – it helps us improve the experience for everyone!
