# Is this translation correct or is this a mistake (bug)?

I have come across this where I think the ayah translation is wrong.

I don’t think it is, although the word وَطْئًا which comes from the root و-ط-ء, generally means to step, press, or walk upon something, in this verse, that meaning doesn’t really apply directly.

The scholars have interpreted وَطْئًا to mean strong in impact- meaning that standing in prayer at night is more intense for recitation.

Thanks, but what I meant was the Ayah translation below. There are some words I know like, layl (night), which is not in the translation.

Ah ok, if you press more information it should show you the whole ayah. It only displays some of the ayah around the intended word because it might too long.
