# A small number of requests

I sincerely appreciate the effort behind Kalaam. It’s a wonderful app. Not complaining but I’d just like to ask for a few things:

1. In Vocabulary Challenges, many words are automatically completed as “unfamiliar,” even though I understand many of them. Sometimes more than half the challenge is completed this way, causing unnecessary point loss and making it discouraging. The “turn off unfamiliar words” option doesn’t help when another board member has already started the challenge, as we’re forced to do the same words.

Since leaderboard members can already understand around 65% of the Quran, automatic completion of unfamiliar words seems unnecessary. Users should be allowed to attempt them, as the verse context often helps them guess the meaning.

1. Plus, please add an option to mark words as familiar directly from the list of total words (it is difficult to find in Surahs).
2. Lastly, add an option to delete individual messages and entire chats with friends.

Wa iyyakum assalam, JazakAllah khair for the kind words and for taking the time to write this out in detail.

On the first point, you’re right. The auto-completion of unfamiliar words in Vocabulary Challenges shouldn’t be costing you points on words you actually know. We will add this.

As for marking words as familiar directly from the total words list, and the option to delete individual messages and entire chats with friends, we will discuss both with the team, and if they’re approved we will add them.

JazakAllahu khayran again for the suggestions, they’re genuinely useful.
